'll break down some of the electoral possibilities, which is narrowing for mitt romney and david shuster is in denver as well. the debate will start in about 57 minutes. i'm already buzzing. i love these things. >> jennifer: let's go! let's go! >> cenk: and we'll have analysis afterwards as well. vice president gore let me start with you. it looks like mitt romney is significantly down in the important swing states. does your strategy shift now and if so how? >> i think he has to be aggressive, without seeming to be aggressive and i think it's a tricky act for him to pull off. i think that his supporters realize that he is probably behind as the polls indicate and that he needs to really change some minds tonight. i think in some way there's more pressure on president obama simply because the polls indicate and most people expect that he will win the debate and that's a tough position to be in. but at the same time because governor romney has to do so much more -- he has to change the course of this race tonight, and that puts an enormous amount of pressure on him. so

. i think he let us all down. i hate to say it. look romney came to play. i think -- romney came to play and president obama stayed home. listen. i looked at it not just as an obama supporter but as somebody who loves debate and has made a living out of debating. and started out -- look, in -- i was on the debate team in high school. i the debate team -- in delaware. i was on the debate team at niagara university. when i went to college. i coached debate. my father judged high school in philadelphia. i debated on crossfire on the spin room, on msnbc. i've debated on the road with bob novack ay and bill crystal and mary madeline and you name them. armstrong williams. alan keys, i can't remember all of the conservatives i've been on the road with. so debate is sort of my thing. i'm sorry to say it, on points and on style, mitt romney won last debate. he came to play. obama did not. and it's not that -- i don't know what it w the president decided he wasn't going to get down and dirty but he just let mitt rom

that chess game. i think he's inextricably tied to ryan, and i hate to see t but they'll have to double down and have the of a presidential presence. that's what is going to make the difference for romney. the substance isn't. i think seeming presidential, going in as an underdog, which is he is going as president that's the only hope he has. and that's very slim. >> if it's that hopeless in the debate, he may have less hope than i realized. great analysis. now when we come back, there is a new hollywood movie out against teachers' unions. the conservatives have figured it out, go hollywood. this is pretty nefarious. i'll show you the real reason why think made this movie.
